Use of the QR code does not require the submission of personal data and does not collect or trace user information.

Along with the QR authentication feature, the polymer note includes several additional anti-counterfeiting details within its design. These security elements include banknote-style printing techniques, guilloche detailing, watermarks, and microprint text.
