Jennie Norris recently joined the United States Mint’s Artistic Infusion Program (AIP), and her design for the Gold Eagle reverse represents her first contribution to U.S. coinage. Norris has professional experience in graphic design, illustration, and fine art, and she currently works as a graphic designer at the University of Arizona. Upon entering the AIP, she viewed the opportunity to design a Gold Eagle as a chance to express her appreciation for nature and raptors, describing the work as a meaningful personal experience.
