The British Silver Britannia coins are among the signature annual bullion releases of The Royal Mint. Introduced in 1997, the Silver Britannia series followed the Gold Britannia program, which had begun in 1987. The series is offered in multiple weight options, starting from 1/10 oz pieces and extending to 1 Kilo coins. MintSealed is Bullion Metals’s approach to guaranteeing that sealed products are delivered in the identical condition they were in when they left the mint of origin. On the obverse of the 2026 British Silver Britannia, King Charles III is shown in left-profile relief without a crown. This design, crafted by Martin Jennings, is the official portrait of King Charles III introduced in late 2022 for British coins.

The reverse design of the 2026 1 oz British Silver Britannia Coin features Britannia, as imagined by artist Philip Nathan in 1987. The depiction presents her standing in a strong stance, wearing flowing robes and a Corinthian helmet, with a trident in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. A shield displaying the Union Jack completes the design.
