The obverse of the 2024 American Gold Eagle features the historic bust of Lady Liberty from Augustus Saint-Gaudens. This design element shows Liberty’s full-length figure in front-facing relief as she strides forward with a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left.
On the reverse side of 2024 1 oz Gold Eagle Coins, you will find the image of an American bald eagle. This design is new as of mid-2021 and was created by Jennie Norris. In this design, you see the head of the eagle in great detail with a left-profile view.
