The 2021 release of American Gold Eagle Coins came with two versions of the designs issued. From January to June, the US Mint issued the coins with the original reverse design from Miley Busiek. Starting in July 2021, the mint introduced the new reverse design from Jennie Norris which is now the standard of the series. While 2021 was split between the two designs, 2022 is all about the new bald eagle effigy.

All of these 2022 1/4 oz American Gold Eagle Coins are available to purchase individually or in bulk. Individual coins are available in protective plastic flips, while multiples of 40 coins are available to you inside of tubes. All of the coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.

The reverse side of 2022 1/4 oz American Gold Eagles comes with a new depiction of the American bald eagle. This design of the bald eagle shows the bird in left-profile relief with its head featured in the design field. The image captures all of the details of the bald eagle.
