With the new design element not ready for coining right away, the US Mint issued 2021 Gold Eagles from January to June with the original design from Miley Busiek. Starting in July 2021, the US Mint issued the coins with the all-new reverse design from Jennie Norris. As of the release of these 2022 Gold Eagles, the new bald eagle design is the only one available in the series.

All of the 2022 1 oz American Gold Eagle Coins in this listing come in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Individual coins come in protective flips. Multiples of the Gold Eagle are offered in plastic tubes of 20 coins or Monster Boxes of 500 coins. The box holds a total of 25 tubes of 20 coins each.
