Each of the 1972 25 Pesos Mexican Silver Juarez Coins comes with a protective plastic flip. These coins feature a unique alloy that consists of 72% silver and 28% copper, creating a very durable coin.
In the obverse design of 1972 Mexican Silver Juarez Coins, the mint features the coat of arms of Mexico. The design shows a golden eagle in left-profile relief perched on a prickly pear cactus. The eagle flexes its wings as it uses its beak and talons to battle a serpent. Beneath the seal, a wreath of oak and laurel frames the image.
For the reverse of 1927 25 Pesos Mexican Juarez Coins, an effigy of former President Benito Juarez is featured in the center of the coin. Juárez died of a heart attack on July 18, 1872, while serving his fourth term as president. He was working late in his office at the National Palace in Mexico City when he suffered the fatal attack. His death marked the end of an era in Mexican politics, and he was widely mourned as the defender of the republic.
