This particular bar is the only one in the series produced in a square shape with rounded edges, rather than the traditional rectangular shape with rounded edges.

Each of the 1 Gram Platinum Bars is housed inside of its own, individually-sealed blistercard. The blistercard comes with tamper-evident technology in the design of the packaging and features an assay card within the design as well. The assay authenticates the weight, purity, and metal content of each bar and also features a certified assayer’s signature.

On the obverse of each 1 Gram Argor-Heraeus Platinum Bar are inscriptions that identify the metal content, weight, and purity of the bar. The metal content is noted through the use of the Atomic initials for platinum as “Pt.” There is also an assayer’s stamp on this side of the bar.
